Welcome to San Diego Leather Pride Inc

We are in the process of creating a Board of Directors that will be ongoing, and will help sustain out projects and our community for the years to come. Our goal is to create a core group that will work for the betterment of the community as a whole, to support events stat are both fun and fund-raising! Our new non-profit status will allow San Diego Leatherfolk and friends to not only more easily raise funds, both to take advantage of the contributing to the community with the benefits of tax exempt status. Your donations of time, money and effort will be more effectively leveraged across our community as a whole.
All of the event producers, and board members that have already signed on, have been involved for years with the Leather Pride events prior to the founding of the corporation. Since 2000, they have raised over $100,000 combined to help support the community. We have been able to support Being Alive, The Center, Tom of Finland Foundation, Stonewall Citizens Patrol, Stepping Stone, and several other charities that directly support the local leather community and its members.
We work with our partners in the community to put on events throughout the year. Our Pride events happen during March each year and we do a lot of outreach within the Leather Realm during San Diego Pride. We also regularly are involved with San Diego Rodeo, Imperial Court de San Diego, and the various clubs within the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender communities.
On behalf of the San Diego Leather Pride Committee, we invite your participation in the events of this year’s Leather Pride, and we look forward to your continued involvement in the life of our organization and our community.
